Davos is an Alpine resort town in the region of Graubunden in Switzerland. The town is in the Rhaetian Alps, between the Plessur and Albula Ranges.
Davos is best known today for hosting the World Economic Forum, an annual meeting of global political and corporate leaders. Davos also has a long history of winter sport, and one of Switzerland’s largest ski resorts. The town hosts the international Spengler Cup ice hockey tournament each December. Davos is under 2-hour drive from Zurich and well connected via train to major cities of Switzerland.
