Stubnerkogel is a mountain in the Gastein Valley of the High Tauern Mountain Range of Austrian Alps. The resort town of Bad Gastein is located at the foothill of the mountain. The mountain is 2246 meter (7368 feet) above sea level.

The mountain top can be reached from Bad Gastein via a 2600 m long monocable gondola lift that has a change option midway. There is also a connection to the Angertal with the Senderbahn. Both cable cars have gondolas with eight seats. There are also hiking trails leading to the summit as well as trail from the base to the midpoint.



Once at the top, visitors have access to a number of attractions and other amenities like restaurants, cafe and gift shop. Some notable attractions are as follows.

- Hiking trails suitable for all ages (including baby carriages)


The 140 m long pedestrian suspension bridge at a height of around 2200 m, was built exclusively for tourist purposes. There is also a restaurant on the the summit station of the cable car, two viewing platforms and formerly an ORF television station (now only a radio station).



Bad Gastein is surrounded by 24 peaks offering a panoramic view of the valleys and mountain peaks from Stubnerkogel. Several viewing platform are available on the trail that provides great photo opportunities.
