Next to this very popular attraction, just few miles away, is Lake Mead National Recreation area offering amazing scenic views, rock formations and picturesque trails.
While Lake Mead is one of the largest man-made lake in North American with many scenic locations, a popular spot is the sunset view trail, located about 11 miles and approx. 20 minutes drive from Hoover Dam Visitor center.
